2023 Critics Choice Awards: Complete List

The 28th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards, hosted by Chelsea Handler, was broadcast live on Sunday on the CW, giving viewers a look at the awards season in progress.
The Critics Choice Awards, which are determined by the Critics Choice Association, are intended to honor the best in film and television each year and can help some award campaigns get a boost before the Oscars.
As the evening wore on, Steven Spielberg’s The Fabelmans and A24’s Everything Everywhere All at Once were closely followed with 11 and 14 nominations each in the category of motion pictures.
On the television side, Better Call Saul’s final season received five nominations, while ABC’s smash comedy Abbott Elementary received six.
When the awards were announced, Everything Everywhere won Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor for Ke Huy Quan, Best Director for Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Editing. It also won Best Supporting Actor for Ke Huy Quan.
Best Drama Series, Best Actor in a Drama Series for Bob Odenkirk, and Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Giancarlo Esposito were all wins for Better Call Saul at the television awards.
Abbott Elementary won Best Comedy Series and Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Sheryl Lee Ralph, and The Dropout won Best Limited Series and Best Actress in a Limited Series for Amanda Seyfried. Both Abbott Elementary and The Dropout received two awards each.
